Steady Red is a music production company formed by New York City based producers Mark Ambrosino and Chris Liberti. The duo has used their combined experiences in the industry along with a vast knowledge of various musical styles to develop a production style that is truly their own. While Mark was spending years playing drums with artists ranging from Ray Charles and Perry Farrell to Pink and Stevie Wonder as well as producing and engineering countless records, Chris was hard at work perfecting his production style as he worked with various artists himself, one of whom was signed to RCA Records and another who currently has 2 records in the CMJ Top 100. With Mark's drumming and engineering experience and Chris' formidable programming capability and incredible ability to manipulate sounds, the duo plays off each other's strengths, creating a style that is both cutting-edge and old school. Although a lot of editing and arrangement work gets done in the computer, a session will often start out with Mark behind the drums and Chris playing bass. They'll mess around with ideas until it feels right and it's musical. As experience has shown them, no matter how good the sounds and samples are or how clean the editing is, it has to be musical and it has to feel right. Whether they are writing with an artist, tightening up arrangements on a song that someone has brought in, or building a track for a movie or corporate client, Steady Red does not waiver from this standard.
